The short version
- There's no account, no password and no adverts.
- Your plans, shopping lists, budget and receipts stay on your own phone. We never see them.
- This website has no cookies, no tracking and no forms.
The app
That's One Less Job keeps everything you put into it (your household details, plans, what's in, prices and spending) in your phone's own browser storage. None of it is sent to us. Receipt photos are read on your phone, and the photo isn't kept or uploaded.
If you clear your browser's data, or delete the app, your plans go with it. You can save a backup file from Settings at any time; that file is yours and stays wherever you save it.
This website
The website doesn't use cookies, analytics or any tracking, and it has no forms. Like every website, it has to be delivered to your browser by some services, which see your device's internet address when they do:
- Netlify hosts the website and the app, and keeps short-term server logs for security.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces.
- Unsplash and Pexels provide some of the photos.
Paying for it
The app is free while we test it. When paid plans start, payments will be handled by a specialist payment company, and this notice will be updated to explain exactly what it receives before anyone is asked to pay.
Questions
That's One Less Job is a small independent app made in England. It isn't connected to, or endorsed by, any supermarket or slimming club. A contact email address will be added here before paid plans start.
